The “Harry Potter House” is Back On The Market With A Modern Makeover
Remember that “Harry Potter house” that was listed last year? Well, it didn’t sell… and now it’s back with a fresh look and a price cut!
A home that was listed last year that many locals fondly referred to as the “Harry Potter house” in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is back on the market with a modern makeover. Located just a few blocks from the U.S. Bank Stadium, the 4,547 square foot home was originally listed in 2018 for $2,900,000. Now, the previous gothic-inspired oasis of wood, ornate windows, and metal fixtures is available as a more modern residence and a $200,000 price cut.
Now, the four-bedroom, three-bath residence embraces its more historic features. The building was built in 1911 and was used as a blacksmith shop before eventually becoming a single-family home in the 1980s.
The home boasts exposed brick walls, new paint, a loft-like feel with high ceilings, and an overall lighter aesthetic. The property also includes a rooftop terrace, large paver courtyard, a coffee deck off of the master suite, and is the only stand-alone residence in downtown Minneapolis.
